Targeted Support for the Voluntary Sector

Following a review of the councils Children, Schools & Families' (CSF’s) discretionary funding for the voluntary sector, the Prevention & Early Intervention Fund (PEIF) and the School Lets Fund (SLF) have been merged into one fund, known as the Children’s Targeted Services Fund.

Of the 179 organisations that applied for funding, 33 were successful. These services will provide a wide range of preventative activities for children and young people. The total amount of funding allocated was just over £207,000.

VCS organisations are also reminded to review the information, advice and guidance about possible alternative sources of funding including a range of funding search tools provded by the Herts External Resources Network that can be found by following the link on this page under 'Also on hertsdirect'.
