Planning for Emergencies

Within Hertfordshire the emergency services, local authorities, health authorities and volunteer agencies work together to plan for emergencies under the banner of Hertfordshire Resilience.

The County Councils Emergency Planning Team act as secretariat to Hertfordshire Resilience and work with the county council's departments and district councils to prepare for emergencies.

While Hertfordshire is a safe place to live and work, hazards the county is most at risk from have been identified by Hertfordshire Resilience and further detail of these can be found at the link below.

Unfortunately a number of incidents within Hertfordshire have occurred and the debrief reports for these are available below.
