Hertfordshire County Council has a number of e-mail information alerts on a range of subjects. To receive them, or to change your subscription details, simply click on the link to the right of this page.

Subscribers can choose to receive e-mails on the following areas:

News from Hertfordshire County Council

A regular update from the council giving you information about the full range of county council services: schools, social care, fire and rescue, libraries, trading standards and the environment.

Jobs

If you want to get regular updates about new jobs please click on the 'Jobs' link shown under 'Information' on the left hand side of this page. We will then be able to send you details of exactly the job you want as soon as they are advertised.

Contracts and Tenders

Information for suppliers and potential suppliers to the council, including Tender Opportunities. To ensure that we can communicate with all suppliers and potential suppliers on general topics everyone should register for "General Busiiness Information". Then also choose the different types of contracts that you are interested in receiving information about. Before going in to register take a look at the Categories and Sub Categories that sit under the Types of Contracts by clicking the link below:

Feedback on e-mail alerts

This is a new service aimed at giving you more timely information in a convenient way. We intend to develop the service and we need your feedback to do so.

Privacy

We will protect your email address securely and we will not pass it on to any other organisation. We will only use it to send you e-mails on topics you have requested or from time to time to seek your views and feedback on the e-mail alerts service. In the event of a major emeregency being declared in the county, the county council may use your address to send you public safety information.

How do you unsubscribe?

You may unsubscribe from the service at any time by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' link at the bottom of any e-mail alerts you receive. If you choose to unsubscribe we will stop sending you emails immediately.
